Jim Cloern, ERF's New Co-Editor-in-Chief

Dear ERF Members,

On behalf of the Presidents of the Federation and ERF Editor-in-Chief Carlos Duarte, it gives me great pleasure to tell you that Jim Cloern, United States Geological Survey, Menlo Park, has graciously accepted our invitation to join Carlos as Estuaries and Coasts’ second Co-Editor in Chief.

Jim’s research interests are squarely aligned with the scope of our journaland with the interests of Federation members. He is a prolific author of highly cited papers on a variety of topics. Jim is deeply respected for his ability to frame and engage big picture, long-term ecological questions while leading research teams that patiently reveal the details that are essential to our understanding of our favorite ecosystems.
