Student Research Assistantships

Graduate student Research Assistantships are available for MS and Ph.D. students with an interest in working within a multi-disciplinary team of estuarine scientists investigating multiple stressor interactions and estuarine -wetland processes controlling estuarine health. Areas of interest include wetland biogeochemistry and plant ecology, plankton ecology, estuarine nutrient cycling, fisheries ecology, food web analyses, toxicology, spaital analysis, and estuarine modeling.

Pre-applications for graduate school should be submitted to the Department of Oceanography and Coastal Sciences (http://www.oceanography.lsu.edu/), or the Geography and Anthropology (http://www.ga.lsu.edu/) Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA 70803. Faculty advisors include Baltz, Braud, Farber (U. Pittsburgh), Fry, Inoue, Justic, Mendelssohn, Rabalais/Dortch (LUMCON) and Turner.
